Rep. Kim Coleman’s bid for the 4th Congressional District was the subject of an article in today’s Provo Daily Herald, with particular attention paid to Ben McAdams’ blatantly partisan support of the sham impeachment trial against President. Trump.
The Herald reported:
Coleman said McAdams’ vote didn’t represent the will of the district, which covers parts of Utah, Salt Lake, Sanpete and Juab counties.
“The district was overwhelmingly against impeaching president Trump, and he did (vote for impeachment) nonetheless,” said Coleman. “Despite the incredible flaws in that process, he still voted to impeach the president.”
The article also quoted a Utah Policy poll that found a majority of Utahns objected to the impeachment.
McAdams’ support of impeachment is just one sign of how his support for Nancy Pelosi’s far-left agenda is out of touch with Utah’s 4th District. The article continued:
Despite his reputation for being a moderate Democrat willing to work with both sides of the aisle, Coleman said McAdams “has not shown to be an effective representative for the majority of the citizens and voters in CD4.”
The article also highlighted Rep. Coleman’s service in the state Legislature defending free speech on college campuses, fighting for deregulation, and opposing the recent very unpopular tax reform.
